Document Management Solution(CenterStage)
What is CenterStage ...
CenterStage is a web-based document management solution. It interfaces with the McGill Content Management System (Documentum) and allows faculty and staff members to share and collaborate on all kinds of files – text, spreadsheets, slideshow presentations and image files – regardless of whether they are in different academic units and departments. A separate CenterStage "space" is created for each unique project or activity and members are given access and permissions to view, edit, add and remove content, depending on their roles and responsibilities.
In addition to the basic document management features of version control and record locking CenterStage provides collaboration features, such as customizable web-page spaces, blogs, wikis and discussion forums.
