myMcGill portal back to normal
The myMcGill portal site has been restarted and is now back to normal. It was inaccessible for approximately 1 hour between 10:15 am and 11:15 am this morning.
Introducing the uPrint service for students at McGill
In an effort to adopt more sustainable and economical printing solutions, the uPrint service is being deployed over the next 3 weeks in all Libraries, Residences and other public areas that have Xerox machines. uPrint is a new way for students to print, copy and scan at McGill.
EndNote Update X4.0.2 for Mac now available
EndNote has released an update to EndNote X4 for Mac that includes several improvements.
Warning: Phishing email entitled "Update Your Account"
Be aware of fraudulent email messages entitled "Update Your Account" that are circulating at McGill. The email asks you to click an attachment that is a copy of a McGill sign-in form and then submit this data to an external site. Please delete this email immediately! myMcGill portal – During heavy traffic period, users may be redirected
During the add/drop/withdraw course period, we anticipate heavy traffic on the myMcGill portal. If the portal experiences problems due to this heavy usage, users will be redirected to a web page with links to all major IT services including Minerva, Email, myCourses, and more.
