Some email users of Entourage, MacMail and iPhone may experience problems connecting to their accounts. For all platforms see the workarounds available in the article "Cannot access email on Entourage, MacMail and iPhone(http://knowledgebase.mcgill.ca/it/easylink/article.html?id=14740).
After signing into the myMcGill portal and clicking on Mail, you will be prompted to sign in again to view your mail.
As a consequence of the Exchange server maintenance that was performed early this morning, some Email accounts using POP or IMAP are currently unavailable. IT Services is working to resolve the issue and we apologize for this inconvenience. Please check back here for further updates.

McGill IT Services is undertaking a major initiative to upgrade Banner — the University’s administrative system for student records, financial information and human resources data.
Banner Imaging Systems are experiencing server problems and are unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience.
A network problem is causing intermittent internet connectivity over the wired and wireless networks servicing the McLennan Library.
Due to a cable problem, approximately 80 users do not have telephone service in Burnside Hall and Otto Maass.
During the 20-minute telephone outage Friday morning, July 16, some voicemails may have been lost.
As a consequence of the scheduled maintenance on the McGill telephone system, phone service was interrupted for about 15 minutes this morning. Service is now restored, but may be unstable in some areas. Additionally, most telephones are displaying incorrect date and time and will need to be reset. More details to follow.
Some BlackBerry users are currently not receiving email on their BlackBerry devices. We are investigating the problem and apologize for any inconvenience.

EVault is currently experiencing some issues. The system is being restarted in an attempt to fix the problem.
There will be an electrical shut down at the Ferrier building. UPS and generator support will be available and there should be no impact to services.
