There is a phishing email circulating at McGill, with the subject "Very Your Email". The message claims that it will delete and close your Office 365 account within 24 hours unless you confirm otherwise by clicking on a fraudulent link. See an example of this phishing message below.

Apple Mail app in iOS 11 incompatible with Email on Office 365

If you have upgraded your iPhone or iPad to iOS 11 you may encounter issues accessing your McGill email. That's because the Mail app on newly released iOS 11 is currently not compatible with Outlook.com (email on Office 365).  If you are still using iOS 9 or iOS 10, you are not affected.

There is a phishing email circulating at McGill, with the subject "Opportunity", coming from MYSTERY SHOPPER/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT USA. The message says there is a mystery shopping assignment in your area and asks the recipient to participate by clicking on a link to "Fill Out the application form". See an example of this phishing message below.

Phishing scams based on document sharing: "Shared An Important Documentation (PREVIEW)"

A recent batch of phishing scams prey on people who share documents through collaboration tools such as Office 365's OneDrive, D2, DropBox and others. One reported recently contains the subject "Shared An Important Document (PREVIEW)", and the body contains a link to OPEN FOLDER.

Please DO NOT click on the link or reply to the message. Delete this email immediately! It does NOT come from a McGill source.
