For students living in McGill residences, please be advised that the REZ Voice and Data complimentary service is in the process of shutting down.
Please note that VPN access will be unavailable Thursday, April 6, from 6:00 am to 6:15 am, due to an upgrade. VPN sessions already in progress should not be affected. Those experiencing authentication errors should try reconnecting after the scheduled interruption.
Minerva will be unavailable at 5 pm on Friday, May 6, for a period of about 15 minutes. We appreciate your patience.
The earlier problem with email not being blocked by the anti-spam quarantine method has now been resolved. To ensure your messages are blocked, you might have to update your cookies before you access yourspam.mcgill.ca.
Please note that the Anti-Spam Quarantine website (http://yourspam.mcgill.ca) will be unavailable on Thursday, August 16, 2007 (tomorrow), from 06h00 to 06h30, due to maintenance. Email delivery and quarantining are not affected and will continue to function.
McGill's administrative systems, including Minerva, are undergoing an important upgrade. From Friday, November 10, at 5 pm to Monday, November 13, at 9 am, all Banner systems at McGill will be down. This affects all students, applicants and employees who try to access Minerva, including the online application form, as well as administrators trying to access INB (Internet Native Banner).
The University portal, myMcGill, is experiencing many failed logins. As a result, the system will be down for maintenance from 16:30 to 17:00. You may experience a disruption of service during this period.
New students should note that they will not be able to set up and use their McGill email account until the next business day after they register.
