The uApply system will undergo a scheduled maintenance operation Wednesday, October 2, between 4 pm and 6 pm. The system may be unavailable during this period.
uApply is the system used by applicants to McGill graduate programs and by admissions staff to process those applications.
Library Collections: Relocation Update
This summer, the McGill Library has undergone many significant changes that will impact the ability to locate and access parts of the collection at different branches. A status update regarding the relocation of collections will be posted on a regular basis in order to better serve you during this transitional period.
uApply launched for graduate applicants for Fall 2014 term
We are pleased to announce that uApply launched for graduate applicants for the Fall 2014 term today, Tuesday, October 1st at 9 a.m. The new application is working well and will facilitate a smooth application process for prospective McGill students; however, during the testing phase of the latest version of uApply some issues were discovered affecting the system’s administrative functionality.
At present the following uApply features are unavailable:
- Modify the admissions checklist of an applicant (ex: Add/remove document requirement

The uApply system will undergo a scheduled maintenance operation Monday, September 30, from 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. The system will be unavailable to all users during this period.

Brief myMcGill portal maintenance - Wednesday, September 25, 4:00 to 4:15pm
The myMcGill portal will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes, on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 4:15 pm, for scheduled maintenance.
myMcGill portal maintenance - Saturday, September 21, 10pm to 11pm
The myMcGill portal will be unavailable for approximately 1 hour, on Saturday, September 21, from 10:00pm to 11pm, for scheduled maintenance. Note that this downtime coincides with the regular monthly maintenance for Minerva, Banner and the Graduate Admissions system.

Half‐day Symposium
Members of the MUHC and McGill University research communities are interested in conducting health research with Aboriginal communities, but are unfamiliar/unacquainted with its critical
ethical issues. This interactive event will be a starting point for a discussion on enhancing the protection and well‐being of Aboriginal people in health research.

Web Management System upgrade coming Fall 2013 - Spring 2014
McGill IT Services introduced the Drupal-based Web Management System (WMS) about 2 ½ years ago, giving us a cleaner, more modern and better structured system to support our 650+ websites.
Over the next few months we will be upgrading the software that runs our websites to Drupal version 7 so we can benefit from advances made by the Drupal open source community.
