Please note that the Web interface to the quarantine and options of the McGill Anti-Spam Tier (MAST) at http://yourspam.mcgill.ca will be unavailable on Wednesday, February 15, from 5:00 am to 5:30 am, due to an upgrade. Human Resources and the Office of the CIO would like to announce a change in plans regarding this year's move from the Present attendance system to the new Banner Web Time Entry application. For the coming fiscal year (2008-09), we will be piloting the new Banner system with a limited scope of 400 staff in IT and HR units. Other departments that have been using Present may continue to do so until the new Banner system is fully operational, in June 2009.
Imaging applications will be unavailable this Friday, June 8, from 7:30 am to 9 am approximately, due to system maintenance. This affects those using AX applications directly or through Banner. Users should close all AX applications at end of day Thursday, June 7, and not log onto any AX application (Document Manager, Index Capture, Web Access) during the maintenance period on Friday.
Follow these steps to prevent timing out or slow responses when accessing 10g databases with Crystal Reports.
At 5 pm this evening (Tuesday, March 28), Minerva's Reports Menu will be disabled to upgrade security. When the Reports Menu makes itself available on Wednesday morning, you may notice some new behaviour.
Please be advised that a fibre optic cable was damaged due to a fire in a city utility tunnel in downtown Montreal, cutting phone, fax and email communications with our DAR colleagues located on Peel Street. We have been advised that data service will not be restored prior to Thursday morning, and phone service prior to Thursday afternoon (May 5), at the earliest. Emergency calls should be directed to 514-247-6544.
A problem with the Banner / Minerva server is currently being investigated. We apologize for the inconvenience.
