There is a worm spreading around campus called ZoTob. If you notice that your computer is shutting down unexpectedly you might be infected.
Please note that there is a WORM spreading across the McGill campus. We are investigating routes to fix this problem. If your machine is affected, please disconnect it from the network immediately to avoid spreading it. If your machine is not affected, please run the Windows Updates and scan for the latest critical updates.
EVault central email storage services will be temporarily interrupted for maintenance on Monday and Tuesday mornings. These interruptions should last for a period of 2-3 minutes each. See "Details" for exact schedule.

Our Internet service provider was experiencing problems on their network yesterday afternoon, which was subsequently causing Internet connectivity problems within the McGill community yesterday afternoon. These problems have since been resolved and full Internet service should be back to normal.
The Puremessage antispam system will be updated this Saturday, Dec. 8, at approximately 6:00 am. Consequently, the web user interface (https://yourspam.mcgill.ca) will be unavailable for about 30 minutes.
Please note that there will be a slowdown in network service (1 Gbps down to 155 Mbps) at Macdonald campus on Saturday, March 24, 2007 (tomorrow), between 18h00 and 19h00, due to system maintenance.
