Student mailboxes on the Exchange server have been increased from 100 MB to 200 MB! If you are a student currently using a PO-BOX mailbox you can request that it be migrated to Exchange by submitting an "Email migration request form." Please note that there are plans to decommission the PO-BOX mail server in the near future.
Please note that the PO-BOX, STAFF and ELF mail servers will be unavailable Friday morning, May 19, from 12:01 am to 12:30 am, due to an upgrade. Incoming messages will be queued and delivered once the systems are back up.
There is a worm spreading around campus called ZoTob. If you notice that your computer is shutting down unexpectedly you might be infected.
Please note that there is a WORM spreading across the McGill campus. We are investigating routes to fix this problem. If your machine is affected, please disconnect it from the network immediately to avoid spreading it. If your machine is not affected, please run the Windows Updates and scan for the latest critical updates.
