Technicians are investigating the problem and will reopen the database as soon as possible.
Minerva and all related Banner administrative systems will be unavailable from 5 pm Friday, November 12, to 9 am Monday, November 15, 2004. ICS will be monitoring the process and providing any necessary status reports as well as further details on what the upgrade will bring.
There was a database glitch from Sunday, November 24, until Thursday, November 29, that caused all @mcgill.ca addresses that were not explicitly unsubscribed from the Anti-Spam Quarantine to be subscribed.
Please note that the McGill University Central Software Distribution Site (ELMS e-academy) will be unavailable for about two (2) hours on Saturday, March 31, 2007, sometime between 07h00 and 24h00, due to an upgrade.
Network and Communications Services (NCS) will be upgrading LISTSERV from version 14.4 to 14.5 on Saturday, August 26. This newer version will provide list subscribers with new security features that will protect the contents of their email during transit. During the upgrade, LISTSERV availability will be intermittent between 10h00 and 17h00. Email posted to lists during this period will be temporarily held and distributed upon completion of the upgrade. NCS apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
New INB information site for Banner users now available.
Due to a system problem, approximately one quarter of incoming and outgoing email messages were returned to senders today between 11:10 am and 11:50 am. The problem has since been resolved and email delivery is back to normal.
It is currently impossible to log in to the Software Licensing (ELMS) site. The problem is being investigated. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The STAFF server is being decommissioned on May 31, 2007.
Minerva login problems that were experienced earlier this afternoon were resolved today at about 16:15.
