Banner/Minerva and myMcGill portal unavailable Sunday morning 12am - 2am
There will be a 2-hour maintenance downtime for Banner / Minerva and the myMcGill portal starting at 12:00 am, August 26 (Saturday midnight/early Sunday morning), and ending around 2:00 am Sunday morning. This maintenance is needed to accommodate new government reporting requirements for admissions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Server maintenance - Aug. 24 2 pm to 7 pm: Potential interruptions to several services
Maintenance will be performed on the Enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) on Friday, Aug. 24 between 2 pm and 7 pm. We do not anticipate any effects on any applications or services. However, as with any such maintenance, problems may occur. We apologize in advance for any service interruptions.
TurningPoint 5 for Windows and Mac now available at www.mcgill.ca/software
An updated version of TurningPoint, which is the software used to administer the Student Response System (Clickers) in classes, is now available. TurningPoint 5 replaces earlier versions of the TurningPoint software offered on the McGill software site. Faculty and staff can retrieve it by visiting and signing in to www.mcgill.ca/software.
