Please note that Minerva will be down for scheduled monthly maintenance as of 10 p.m. Saturday, January 19, until 12 pm Sunday, January 20, 2008. Students planning to withdraw from courses should plan their access to Minerva accordingly.
Please note that the Anti-Spam Quarantine website (http://yourspam.mcgill.ca) will be unavailable on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, from 06h00 to 06h30, due to maintenance. Email delivery and quarantining are not affected and will continue to function.
Please note that the CallPilot voice messaging system will be unavailable on Tuesday, September 26, from 18h00 to 19h00, due to maintenance. McGill NCS apologizes for the inconvenience caused.
There was a campus-wide network problem yesterday (Tuesday, April 4) from around 16h00 until 16h40. This affected access to network files and personal home directories.
Please be advised that there is a new email virus that says "Re: Your Email Account is Suspended For Security Reasons." The email sender could be from webmaster, Postmaster or Hostmaster @mcgill.ca with a message to open an attached form. The University is not locking your email account. For your safety, do not open the email attachment, just delete the email message.

There are network connectivity problems in Solin Hall and the MUHC due to a minor landslide outside the McIntyre Medical Building, resulting in a fibre cable break. Connectivity should be restored later this afternoon. We will update you as more details become available.
Banner, McGill's database, is now operating after an extensive upgrade. After a weekend downtime, both Minerva, the University's self-service administrative system, and INB, Internet Native Banner for administrative staff, are up and running.
The University portal, myMcGill, continues to experience intermittent problems. Unstable data in the database is causing some problems for users logging into myMcGill today. Please try again later if you have difficulty signing in. The problem is being investigated.
