uPrint system upgrade May 3 - downtime 9 hours
The uPrint service will be unavailable due to an upgrade lasting approximately 9 hours, starting on Friday, May 3 at 9pm and ending on Saturday, May 4 at 6am. Users should not notice any difference in the uPrint service after the upgrade, it impacts back-end functionality and paves the way for future service improvements.
Note: During the downtime any print jobs submitted to uPrint before the shutdown will be kept in the holding queue for a period of 48 hours. These jobs will be available for printing once the system is back up.

Visual Schedule Builder (VSB) shows you all the possible timetables for the courses you ask it to schedule. Try it yourself here or access it on myMcGill.
Once you have some courses in mind from Class Schedule, enter them into VSB. State your preferences (mornings or evenings off, for example) and watch as multiple conflict-free schedules are generated.
Maintenance on Web System, April 4, 8 am - 8:30 am
A maintenance operation will be performed for McGill's Web System on April 4, 2013 from 8:00 am to 8:30 am. There will be no interruption for web sites on the WMS; however the expanded Search will not be functional during the maintenance window, and sites that rely on the WPS (Web Publishing Software) will be unavailable.

Teaching Snapshots is a new website from Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) that profiles McGill instructors as they share their perspectives on teaching and learning with colleagues, students and the community at large. The instructors featured are from a range of departmental and disciplinary contexts and have all been involved in University initiatives to enhance student learning.

There will be maintenance on the Bcooltv streaming service on Thursday, March 28 between 7:30 and 9:30am. During this time all archived events will not be available for streaming. Lecture recordings will not be impacted.
Web Management System maintenance Tuesday, March 12 - POSTPONED
Maintenance on all McGill web sites scheduled for Tuesday March 12 between 7 to 9 am has been postponed until further notice.
10-min interruption of Internet connectivity for all REZ users on Mar 4
An upgrade to REZ routers requires a 10-minute interruption of all Internet service, starting at 7 am on Monday, March 4. We thank you for your patience during this brief maintenance period.
