Graduate funding from the Institute of Islamic Studies is awarded on a competitive basis to outstanding applicants. The Institute offers five years of guaranteed funding to top PhD candidates. We also offer teaching fellowships and course lectureships, research assistantships, and departmental awards. Applicants to whom the department is able to offer financial assistance will be notified.
Normally we do not have funding for MA students but outstanding MA applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Full details of all Graduate fellowships and awards can be found at the Graduate Fellowships and Awards Calendar 2012-2013.
