Engineers, architects and urban planners play a key role in creating technology and infrastructure that use energy and natural resources efficiently, that minimize waste and that have acceptable social, environmental and economic impacts. ISEAD exists to help ensure that today’s students have a thorough understanding of sustainability and the many issues associated with it, and that they graduate from McGill with the knowledge they need to incorporate sustainable engineering and design principles in their day-to-day work.
