The Internship Offices Network (ION) is the coordinating body for the teaching, learning and administrative units of the McGill faculties that organize and provide internship opportunities. ION aims to promote student internships by:
- Serving as a portal to the appropriate internship office on campus;
- Providing tools and resources to help students find an internship; and
- Organizing and publicizing events that promote internships in general and particular opportunities.

ION Internship Opportunities
ION offers several internship and fellowship opportunities administered directly through the Office. ION and McGill University maintain an agreement with a number of international host organizations to offer an internship/fellowship to at least one McGill student every year. The Schull Yang International Experience Awards
The Schull Yang International Experience Award, supported by Joseph Schull (BA '82, MA '85) and Anna Yang (BCL, LLB '88), was established to help students gain firsthand international experience related to their fields of study. Administered through the Office of the Deputy Provost and the Internship Offices Network, this award is meant to provide partial funding to assist students with travel and other expenses related to an ION internship. Open to all faculties. Award valued at $4,000-$6,000.
