Notice: Change in opening times at 2 US border crossings

If you're headed to the US border for your study or work permit:

Beware that the hours when permits are issued to people already living in Canada changed effective December 11, 2017 for the St-Bernard-de-Lacolle and the St-Armand/Philipsburg crossings. Hours are now Mon-Thurs noon to 7pm, and Sat 9am to 5pm. Details here: PDF icon Hours_bordercrossing


Newly Graduated Students

Congratulations on graduation!

Students who graduate in both the Fall and Winter terms, and have confirmed their coverage for the entire year, are covered by the IHI plan until the end of the academic year -  August, 31. 


Students who graduate and obtain an open 3-year Post-Graduate Work Permit are now eligible for Quebec Medicare. For more information, please contact the Quebec Medicare office:

Please note to apply for Quebec Medicare card as soon as you will obtain your postgraduate work permit since there is a three-month waiting period following your registration with the RAMQ
