Though Montreal is a relatively inexpensive city by North American standards, the cost of living here is significantly higher than in many parts of the world. McGill provides estimates of annual living expenses in Montreal -- including tuition and academic fees -- for both graduate and undergraduate students.
In addition, McGill's Student Aid Centre runs budgeting workshops for students throughout the academic year.
To be considered for financial aid, students must be registered full time in a degree program, be in satisfactory academic standing and demonstrate financial need. Awards values vary and do not cover the full cost of attendance at McGill. Information and applications are available in the Financial Aid menu on Minerva, and can also be found at McGill's Office of Scholarships and Student Aid.
Additional aid opportunities may exist for some graduate students, as well as some American students.
