Post Graduation Work Permit Update

Want to avoid lengthy CIC processing times for online Post Graduation Work Permit applications?

International Students (with valid Study Permits) who are from TRV/Entry Visa-exempt countries can now apply for their Post-Grad Work Permits at the following border crossings in Quebec:

• Lacolle/Champlain
• St. Armand/Phillipsburg
• Stanstead

Before heading to the border, please ensure that:

1. You are eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit
2. You have a valid Study Permit
3. You bring the following documents:
• Your passport and valid Study Permit
• Your official transcripts and/or a confirmation of graduation letter (from Service Point or your Faculty)
• $150 CAD
• Proof that you have enough funds to live while looking for employment (e.g. bank statement)

Transportation:  See bus service to the Canada/US border
