The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology research interests span a range of vital topics in cellular and molecular biology, providing the basis for active graduate and postdoctoral training programs. The technical capabilities include an advanced comprehensive biological imaging facility and a Proteomics group for large-scale protein sequencing and characterization. The undergraduate program in Anatomy and Cell Biology is the only one of its kind in Canada. In addition, the Department contributes expertise in Anatomy and Histology as well as in Cellular and Molecular Biology to the medical and dental curricula.
