Women's Studies is a multidisciplinary program of the Faculty of Arts. It offers courses from a wide range of subject areas, all of which have as their focus the study of critical and historical issues concerning women and gender relations in theoretical and empirical scholarship. The program provides students with the opportunity of discovering and examining the many different ways in which the intersections of gender with race, sexuality, religion, class and ability all shape and define the individual's sense of reality.
