The issue affecting D2 is now resolved.
Please be advised that users are presently unable to view, download, upload, import or edit documents through D2, McGill’s Document Management System. We are currently investigating the issue and are working towards a resolution.
Network and Information Security Upgrade: New antivirus solution at McGill

This communication provides you with important information concerning the deployment of a new antivirus for McGill: Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) for Endpoints....
McGill websites are currently not loading for some users when using http://www.mcgill.ca. If you use https:// the pages should load. The web team is aware of the issue and is taking measures to resolve it as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.
Over the past few months, you may have heard some buzz about the Recruitment to Retirement Program, aka "R2R". This new program will replace the current Banner Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and the Payroll One-Time Payment System (POPS), and will effectively replace much of the functionality employees currently access through Minerva. It's a very wide-reaching program, which will affect every McGill employee when it is deployed....

There are currently telephone problems in some buildings in the downtown campus.
We thank you for your patience while we investigate the problem.
In order to increase the security of McGill’s network, the smtp email server, smtp.mcgill.ca will be blocked starting on November 30, 2017.
If you have set up an email application using IMAP or POP protocols to access your McGill email, or if you are accessing your McGill email through a web-based email service, such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail, please ensure the outbound mail server is set to smtp.office365.com to avoid any problems sending email....

Several access points on campus are down and as a result there is no wired or wireless connectivity in these areas.
IT Services is working to resolve the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.
