Health and Social Services in Latin America

The McBurney Fellowship is a unique opportunity for outstanding graduate students and advanced undergraduate students in any Faculty to serve with programs that are improving the health and social conditions faced by poor and marginalized populations in Latin America, and to be mentored by McGill faculty members. McBurney fellows will serve, over a 2-3 month period, with organizations on health and social service projects that make a significant contribution to meeting the basic needs of local populations. Fellows will be supported by a payment of $3500 and Faculty will receive funding ($500 per student) to cover mentoring costs.

Applications may be submitted by either McGill students or McGill faculty.
