Nexos Voluntarios Internship Opportunities in Peru

Nexos Voluntarios is a Peru–based non-profit organization, supported by the Inter American Development Bank that offers opportunities for skilled and caring individuals, to make a significant contribution to the development of a poor community in Peru, by living and working as volunteers in the country.

Nexos Voluntarios is engaged with the development of Urubamba -region close to Machu Pichu- and fosters an understanding between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres by promoting thoughtful, impact-oriented and effective voluntary activities. For this matter, volunteers receive orientation and field support as well as mentoring from experts and peer cooperation from a local university students.

Currently, a joint effort between McGill Centre for Developing Area Studies, McGill Faculty of Arts Internship Program and Nexos Voluntarios, have committed with the Andean community of Media Luna, where an integral and concrete development program is being put into practice to ensure sustainable progress.
