The Training and Retention of Health Professionals Project works to increase access by English-speaking clients to safe and equitable health and social services through the following measures:

The Language Training Program gives Francophone professionals already working with English-speaking clients the opportunity to increase their proficiency in English.

The Retention Program provides initiatives to make it easier for institutions to recruit and retain recent graduates capable of providing services in both French and English and to empower community networks to promote the initiatives within the community and support students wishing to be part of the pool of available human resources.

The Research Development Program supports research that adds to the body of knowledge regarding means of reducing barriers of access to services in English.
