In 2001, the university was mandated by law to implement a Pay Equity program for the entire university.
Information has been sorted into two (2) main categories:
Pay Equity Committee
Pay Equity Implementation
The work done took place in 2001 with a final report submitted to the Quebec Government's Pay Equity Commission on November 21, 2001. There was a four (4) year year implementation schedule. Some job classes/employee classifications received an increase every year in November, until November 21, 2005. These increases were called "pay equity adjustments".
