Immigration and relocation services
The Immigration & Relocation team is responsible for coordinating the relocation of new tenure stream faculty to McGill and Montreal, working in close coordination with the Academic Personnel Office and the Advisor for Faculty Relocation. Our expertise centres on work permit procedures, household and office moves, travel, temporary accommodation, and other relocation issues that may arise.
The Academic Personnel Office website offers detailed information about our Relocation Service and Immigration Procedures for Academic Staff as well as other important issues for newcomers such as Quebec Health Insurance, Quebec Tax Holiday and the McGill French Language Program.
