Process management

Units and individuals need to know and understand their key processes in order to manage the increasing demand to do more with less, to eliminate redundancy and to work “smart”.  

Much red tape and work arounds have their source in a lack of adequate understanding of the characteristics of existing processes and the needs and expectations of clients and interdependent partners in these processes.

Through the provision of training and internal consulting/facilitation, HR’s Organizational Development unit collaborates on process improvement initiatives by supporting areas in identifying and mapping their current processes (“as is”) and developing streamlined processes  with key stakeholders (“to be”).

Major process improvement initiatives do not happen in isolation.  The following may capture related themes to be considered:
