Job Summary: 
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, plans and oversees technical aspects of the production of performances, concerts, and related events. Organizes, distributes and verifies the work of others and participates in their training. Maintains performance hall and equipment in proper working order. Performs administrative duties related to activities of the unit.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: 
1. Plans, executes and oversees the preparation of stage and lighting layouts for performances and rehearsals. Organizes, distributes and verifies the work of others, and participates in their training. Advises clients on the technical requirements of production.

2. Organizes production schedule, liaising with appropriate parties as required. Provides support to production team in identifying and resolving technical problems.

3. Oversees production of rehearsals, performances, and related events. Coordinates backstage, stage and front-of-house operations during performance.

4. Makes recommendations to improve unit efficiency. Prepares staff schedules.

5. Maintains records and files. Prepares reports. Completes forms.

6. Maintains inventory of equipment. Recommends equipment purchases. Performs routine maintenance and repair of equipment.

7. Ensures adherence to safety and security regulations.

Education and Experience: 
DEC III (Theatre Production)
Three (3) years' related experience
