Deadline extended for Principal’s Award to Administrative and Support Staff

This is to inform you that we have extended the deadline to submit nominations to the Principal’s Awards for Administrative and Support Staff for 2012-2013. You have until August 19th, 5:00 pm to submit your entry.

Now is the time to start thinking about submitting nominations to the Principal’s Awards for Administrative and Support Staff for 2012-2013.   Colleagues can present nominees in six categories – customer service, quality of work, initiative/innovation, service to the community, teamwork and sustainability – for work carried out between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2013.

McGill announces Voluntary Retirement Program

As part of the cost-savings measures recently announced by the University, McGill today launched its 2013 Voluntary Retirement Program for eligible administrative and support staff aged 60 and over, before December 31, 2013.

Pay Equity Maintenance

On March 1, 2013 the University, with the assistance of the Pay Equity Commission, reached an agreement on pay equity maintenance with MUNACA.  As a result of this agreement, some staff members within the MUNACA, SEU, M and academic employee groups, who occupy certain predominantly female job classes, may receive a pay equity adjustment.  Affected staff will receive a retroactive paym
