You will not, however, receive any benefit payments through the Long Term Disability Plan while you qualify for employment insurance maternity benefits.
Short-Term Disability leave
Coverage for all benefits continues while you are receiving Short-Term Disability benefits. You will continue to pay your share of Supplemental Health, Dental, Long-Term Disability, Optional Life Insurance (if applicable) costs, as well as the Pension Plan.
Long-Term Disability leave
Coverage for all benefits continues while you are eligible to receive Long-Term Disability benefits under the McGill LTD Plan. You will continue to pay your share of Supplemental Health and Dental costs. Coverage under the Life Insurance and Accident Insurance Plans as well as the Pension Plan will continue at no cost to you during a Long-Term Disability leave.
In the case of an active member whose employment terminates while they are in receipt of LTD payments, the continuation of the Pension Plan, Health Plan and Dental Plan shall not extend beyond the employment end date
