Course objectives:
How do you want to feel when you walk through the office door, sit down at your desk and open your weekly schedule? How do you want to feel when you answer the phone, complete the major project, accept the award, or get the promotion? More importantly, are you feeling the way you want to feel most of the time or not at all?

The Desire Map is a fresh and innovative approach to creating goals from the inside out. Created by Danielle LaPorte, the guiding premise is that we as a society have the procedures of achievement completely upside down, and more often than not we are focused on external attainment over internal gratification. When we take a closer look at all the things we want to have, get, and accomplish, we should stop and ask ourselves if our goals are being driven by external factors or are they truly driven by an innate desire to feel a certain way.


Learning Objectives:

- To help you identify your core desired feelings
- To guide you in using your preferred feelings as a guidance system for making choices and for being more present and alive
- To help you use your desired feelings as a way to access comfort and clarity during painful times
- To help you accentuate the positive aspects of your life, while still honoring, and not invalidating, the negative parts that you want to change
