|An important aspect of a supervisor’s role is to prioritize work according to evolving needs, to organize and distribute tasks effectively, and to ensure tasks are completed within a defined timeframe and according to certain standards. Structure and follow-up, when properly adapted to the needs at hand, are critical components of employee engagement and effectiveness. This workshop will introduce you to simple and effective supervisory/management tools that you can implement in your day-to-day operations to maintain and increase overall team performance.
This half-day workshop will provide participants with:
• Understanding of the four basic functions of a supervisor: to plan, organize, direct and control, and how they relate to employee engagement
• Identification of how these four functions might be best adapted to the participant’s current reality
• Knowledge of practical tips and tools that can help to manage prioritization, workload distribution, tracking, etc.
