Research interests - tuberculosis, mycobacterial genomics, molecular epidemiology

We employ molecular biology techniques to explore the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex and the Mycobacterium avium complex. Specifically, tools include DNA fingerprints as adjuncts to epidemiologic studies and DNA microarrays for both comparative and functional genomics.
