Interdisciplinary Options

MA History—Development Studies option and MA History—Gender and Women's Studies option. Students admitted to these options participate in an interdisciplinary seminar in place of 3 history seminar credits (6 in the case of the Gender and Women's Studies option) and write their research paper or thesis on a topic approved by the specific option's coordinating committee.
