Carrie M. Derick Award for Excellence in Graduate Supervision and Teaching

Graduate supervision and teaching are the backbones of graduate student success. Each year, the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies invites nominations for the Carrie M. Derick Award for Excellence in Graduate Supervision and Teaching. This award acknowledges outstanding contributions to promoting graduate student excellence through supervision and teaching by a faculty member who has been supervising for 10 years or less.

Award for Excellence in Service

Each year, the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is pleased to invite departments to submit nominations for the Award for Excellence in Service to Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. This award acknowledges outstanding contributions to graduate and postdoctoral education at McGill by members of the administrative and support staff of the University. This award is given every year that a suitable nominee is put forward. The selection committee could consider recognizing more than one employee in a single year.
