Volunteer Student Ambassador Call Out
The First Peoples’ House is hosting a new student orientation! This year, we are taking steps to be more inclusive and welcoming. We are in need of four different Indigenous student ambassadors, three undergraduates and one graduate, to achieve these goals. The ambassadors are important for new students, as they can give advice and help the new students with resources and getting to know people. Additionally, they can keep in contact with the new students after the orientation and encourage them to attend other events! If you are interested in being a volunteer student ambassador, please read below for more information:

Indigenous Student Ambassadors are expected to welcome new students and introduce them to McGill and the First Peoples’ House. They will also offer advice, guidance, and knowledge of resources to the incoming students. Keeping in contact after orientation and encouraging new students to attend other events, like soup and bannock and Indigenous Awareness Week, is important!

Is an Indigenous undergraduate or graduate student.
