National Aboriginal Circle Against Family Violence (NACAFV), SEDE’S Indigenous Education Program, Students Society of McGill University(SSMU), and The Social Work Association of Graduate Students (SWAGS) are proud to announce that we will be hosting:
 
Aboriginal Men in Action Against Family Violence

 Presentations by:

  Wayne Rabbitskin of the Nishiiyuu Men – from the group of men from the James Bay Cree communities who initiated a walk from Chisasibi to Mistissini to raise awareness and advocate to end all forms of violence against all women.

  Norman Achneepineskum, Ojibway-Cree artist and singer originally from the Pays Plat community in Ontario as a witness is denouncing and speaking up against family violence at marches and schools.

The evening will feature drum songs by the Buffalo Hat Singers

Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. Everyone is welcome.
