Residence Dining Halls

Bishop Mountain Dining Hall, located at the foothills of Mount Royal

Whether it's a dinner at New Residence Dining Hall or a brunch at Royal Victoria College Dining Hall, our goal is to prepare and present our food with passion and creativity. We want to exceed your expectations!

There are five Residence Dining Halls at McGill, each one offering varied and nutritious food with a focus on great taste and  sustainability. Each Residence Hall has its own unique style and ambiance, and the Mandatory Residential meal plan gives students access to all of them. Staff and faculty are more than welcome to eat here too, and will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and value that our Dining Halls offer.

On a monthly basis, each dining hall features Local Food Days and special theme meals where you can enjoy a selection of locally sourced and specially prepared menu items. Visit our events page to read about what's happening this month and experience all of what McGill Food and Dining has to offer!

Feedback is important to us, and all comments and questions received from you will be answered individually. There are Talk2Us feedback cards available in each dining hall, or fill out our online feedback form.

Douglas Hall - 3851 university street

The beautiful architectural details of Douglas Hall's intimate dining room make eating at Douglas almost as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food. With a menu that's very similar to that of Bishop Mountain Hall's, however, the food could easily stand on its own.  Keep an eye out for homemade comfort foods and plentiful options for vegetarians.
