Students in the second year course Dairy Heifer Management are presenting their analysis of heifer management on an actual dairy farm (often their home farm). The projects look at living conditions, time management and feeding practices as well as costs from birth through weaning and breeding. The student also has to create a partial budget and make suggestions for improvement.
