Career Planning Service (CaPS)

Be sure to visit CaPS for help finding jobs both on and off campus. They can help you craft your CV and cover letter, and also offer workshops on job-hunting, interview techniques and much more.

Work Study Program

The Scholarships and Student Aid Office runs a work study program that creates part-time on-campus jobs for students. Applicants are evaluated primarily according to their financial need. You can apply if you are registered full time in a degree program, are in satisfactory academic standing and demonstrate financial need. Click here for more information.

Other on-campus employment

Employment opportunities on campus pop up both during the academic year and during the summer. Some — but not all — jobs will be posted on the McGill Career Planning Service (CaPS) website. There's no central McGill employment centre, so to maximize your chances of landing a job, you'll need to contact area personnel offices at units around campus.
