Arrival at McGill is a big event, not only for students, but for the parents of new students starting at McGill as well. We invite parents and family to attend one of the four Parent Information Sessions, where the Executive Director, Services for Students will review information of particular interest and discuss any concerns in an informal gathering. Representatives from the various services (i.e., International Student Service, the First-Year Office, Health Service, etc.) will also be in attendance and able to answer questions.

Parents Tent
During Orientation Week, the McGill Parents Association will operate its Parents Welcome Tent on the downtown campus.
Parents will be able to pick up their copy of the Parents Handbook in person. They can also ask questions and get information on McGill and Montreal, local merchants, and banking, etc., while meeting other parents.
