University Welcome

Hello and Welcome to McGill from the First-Year Office Team!

Campus Life & Engagement (CL&E) is part of a dynamic team of services and support units working together to ensure that your time at McGill is the best it can be. Campus Life & Engagement is the one office dedicated to serving everyone who is attending McGill for the first time whether you are new to McGill or you are a student continuing your studies at McGill as a first-time graduate student. We want to help make the start of your McGill graduate experience, both academically and socially, as positive, enriching and rewarding as possible.

We have partnered with the Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies Office and the Post Graduate Students' Society to organize the Graduate Orientation Open House and Welcome event where you can meet and network with new and returning students, faculty and staff.

Bookmark this page and come back often as we will be updating it with information and messages to help you both before and after you arrive. Know that we look forward to meeting and welcoming you at the Discover McGill Orientation Open House & Welcome Event on September 2, 2014.

In the meantime and before you arrive on campus, help yourself have a strong start to your McGill career by taking the time to listen to the following important University Welcome messages that have been prepared for you. The presentations provide you with introductory information about the services and support offered by the Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies Office, Student Services, the Office of the Dean of Students and the Post Graduate Students' Society. Have a pen and paper ready to write down any questions that arise that you may want to bring with you to the Graduate Orientation Open House and Welcome event.
