Merchant Tool Kit

Hosting a conference/seminar/event at McGill

Do you need to set-up online registration? Are you ready to collect fees/accept credit card payments?
Read our Knowledge Base article to learn more about what to do before and after an event and how to set up web registration (including online payment) with ConfTool and Cvent (McGill contracted suppliers).

Any unit setting up an operation to receive payments (for goods or services rendered or to receive donations) must be given an approved University MERCHANT account.

Financial Services is the only administrative body entitled to create merchants be it for internet, point of sale, and/or interactive voice response merchants.
