International Projects

The International Division of the Department of Family Medicine aims to:

  • Promote the development and implementation of international activities in the Department, consistent with the mission of McGill University and the Department of Family Medicine.
  • Provide a forum for departmental members to discuss international project development and implementation.
  • Coordinate international activities for the Department, for students, residents, and faculty members.
  • Disseminate information about international projects and opportunities to departmental members.
  • Use the Department's international activities as an opportunity for teaching, learning and scholarly activities for students, residents and faculty members.
  • Encourage students, residents and faculty members to apply the knowledge and skills gained through global health initiatives in their daily work as clinicians, teachers and researchers.
  • Collaborate with appropriate local, national and international organizations dedicated to international project development.

The Department of Family Medicine values international collaborations and welcomes new initiatives and partnerships.
