The Faculty Development Committee consist of 11 members, with representation from the academic teaching units, postgraduate, undergraduate and research division, as well as from urban and rural sites.

Dr. Marion Dove, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University, has been Director of the Faculty Development Committee since July 2009. She holds an MD from McMaster University (1994) and did her residency in family medicine at McGill University (1996). Her family practice at the CLSC Cote-des-Neiges includes obstetrics with deliveries at the Jewish General Hospital, and she also works as an associate at the Montreal Children's Hospital in the Department of Adolescent Medicine and Gynecology.
Dr. Isabelle Leblanc/St. Mary's Hospital
Dr. Isabelle leblanc is a Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University. She holds an M.Sc. in Anthropology from Université de Montréal, a MD from Ottawa University (200)(1994) and did her residency in family medicine at McGill University (12004). Her work in primary care is based at St-Mary's Hospital; she also has an appointement in internal medicine, palliative care (St-Mary's) and paediatrics (RVH). She is Assistant Director for Physician Apprenticeship as well as co-responsable for ethics teaching to medical students.

Dr. Namta Gupta is presently Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, McGill University. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and a fellow at the Canadian College of Family Physicians. Dr. Gupta has been involved in medical education with both undergraduate, postgraduate learners and she has been a leader in faculty development especially with respect to medical education and the learning environment.
Dr. Teresa Rudkin/CLSC
Teresa Rudkin’s interest in resident teaching and learning prompted her to be a member of the Faculty Development Committee since 2008. Before earning her MD from the University of Ottawa (2000), she received a Master’s degree in Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University (1997). She has been a resident in the departments of Medical Genetics (2001-2005) and Family Medicine (2006-2007), as well as a Postgraduate Fellow in Medical Education (2006) at McGill University.
She is currently a Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University. She has clinical practices at both the CLSC Côte des Neiges where she is head of the Primary Care Clinic for Patients with Genetic Syndromes and a community clinic in Westmount. She has been a CME lecturer at various conferences in Montreal including the Thursday Evening Lecture Series (TELS), Annual Refresher Course for Family Physicians, and Practical Problems in Pediatrics.
Dr. Pierre-Paul Tellier
Dr. Tellier is a family physician working in Montreal. He is the Director of the Office of Student Affairs for the Faculty of Medicine and the Director of Student Health. He also works at the Herzl Family Practice Unit at the Sir Mortimer Davis-Jewish General Hospital and at Heaad and Hands, a community youth centre.
Dr. Fanny Hersson-Edery/JGH - Herzl Family Practice Centre
Dr. Fanny Hersson-Edery, Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University. She holds an MD from McGill University (1997) and did her residency in family medicine at McGill University (1999), followed by felloship training in Care of the Elderly and Maternal-Child Health . Her practice includes the VMS Clinic, a community family medicine clinic, La Maison Bleue (CSSS de la Montagne), and deliveries at the Jewish General Hospital. She supervises resident clinics and home care visits at the Herzl Family Practice at the Jewish General Hospital.

Dr. Maureen Doyle, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Family Medicine McGill University, has been a member of the Faculty Development Committee for several years. She is a graduate of Queen's University( Hons. B.Sc.; MD) and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Sunnybrook Hospital, University of Toronto. She also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Queen's University. She is currently the Postgraduate Education Director at St. Mary's Hospital where she has been practising and teaching since 1996.
Dr. Anne-Marie Therrien/CSSS Gatineau
Dr Anne-Marie Therrien, a Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University, has been a member of the Faculty Development Committee since January 2011. She holds a Bachelor in Nursing (1997) and a MD from Ottawa University (2004) where she graduated Valedictorian of her class. She did her residency in Family Medicine at McGill University (2006) at the Gatineau unit. Her family practice at the FMU of Gatineau includes supervising and teaching medical students and family medicine residents and has special interests in Adolescent Medicine, Women’s Health and Mental Health.
Dr. Marisa Zampini/JGH - Herzl Family Practice Centre
Dr. Marisa Zampini, Faculty Lecturer and Osler Fellow in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University. She holds an MD from McGill University (2005) and did her residency in family medicine at McGill University (2007), followed by fellowship training in Maternal-Child Health. Her practice includes the Herzl Family Practice Center, as well as both hospitalist work and deliveries at the Jewish General Hospital. She supervises resident clinics at the Herzl Family Practice. In addition, she is the site co-coordinator for the Undergraduate Family Medicine Program, and an active member of the Continuing Medical Education Committee at the Jewish General Hospital.
Dr. Shirin Yazdanian is a Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University. She received an MD from the University of Toronto (2006) and did her residency in Family Medicine at Queen's University (2008). She was an Assistant Professor at Queen's University for two years before moving to Montreal in 2010. She currently has a family medicine practice and adolescent medicine clinic at the Herzl Family Practice Centre of the Jewish General Hospital, where she also supervises family medicine residents. She works at the Clinique Réseau Intégrée Universitaire walk-in clinic, which is affiliated with the Herzl Family Practice Centre. She also works at the Refugee Clinic at the CLSC Côte-Des-Neiges.
Dr Ghada-Maria Saddi received her MD degree from University of Damascus, Syria, 1994. She received her M.Sc. degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from the Department of Psychiatry, McGill University in 1997. She went on to complete the Residency program in Family Medicine at JGH, McGill University in 2001. Dr. Saddi practiced Emergency Medicine 2001- 2005 and has since practiced Family Medicine and Acute Intrahospital Care at Hôpital Anna Laberge. Dr. Saddi has been a Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine, McGill University since 2005. Dr. Saddi has been a member of the Faculty Development Committee since 2011.
