What is your cancellation policy?

Upon written notification received at least thirty (30) business days before the program start date, 50% of the program fees will be refunded. A qualified substitute may take the place of the registered candidate up to 30 days before the course begins. (The qualified substitute must be an executive/top-level decision-maker, and must be able to place into one of the courses offered in terms of language level during that particular session). For late cancellation requests, the course payment will not be refunded. Please email our Registration Team at: executivelanguageprogram.conted [at] mcgill.ca

Can I apply for a tax credit or deduction with these courses?

On an organizational level, courses and seminars offered through the McGill Executive Language Program qualify for Bill 90 "Act to foster the development of manpower training" (commonly known as the 1% law). It requires firms with a payroll of $1 million or more to allocate 1% of it annually to the training of their workforce, or to pay an equivalent sum into a National Training Fund (FNFMO) to support the development of workforce training.

However, on an individual level, the McGill Executive Language Program is a non-credit program, and participants may not receive a tax credit or deduction for the program fees on personal tax returns.
