Room Booking Procedures
The procedures followed by McGill to schedule and book different type of rooms are outlined below. To make space reservations on campus, please view booking contacts and room characteristics by clicking on the Roomtable's list of all the rooms.
Some General-Purpose Classrooms are scheduled centrally by the University Class Schedule Office (UCSO) of Enrolment Services. Some are scheduled by faculties.
Contact the Faculty Schedule Coordinators for ad-hoc room booking requests. During the Summer, UCSO helps the Faculty Schedule Coordinators with booking requests.
Departmental seminar rooms for seminars, tutorials and conferences
Seminars and tutorials are scheduled mainly by UCSO and conferences by departments.

Laboratories and studios
All labs and studios are scheduled by departments.
Rooms required for outside parties
These may be General Purpose Classrooms or Departmental Seminar Rooms that are scheduled by Faculty/Department on the request of Ancillary Services.
Central scheduling for teaching activities takes priority over ad-hoc bookings. Central scheduling for the upcoming Academic Year is complete by mid-March.
Meeting rooms such as room 310 in the James Administration Building are meeting spaces scheduled by departments or administrative units, such as the Secretariat.
