Welcome to the Social Equity and Diversity Education (SEDE) Office
SEDE is excited to welcome you in 2013 to a wide variety of training programs and community engagement activities for Faculty, Staff and students. Our Office strives to foster a better understanding among different cultures and communities through providing information, education and training to all areas of McGill University in order to cultivate a respectful, diverse and supportive campus. We also bring students into the local communities.
If you feel that you have been harassed or discriminated against, you may contact an Assessor to discuss your options. Assessors are members of the McGill Community that have been appointed and trained to receive and investigate complaints under the McGill Policy on Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Discrimination Prohibited by Law [.pdf]. To contact an Assessor, call 398-4911, or click here for more contact information.
