Understanding Discrimination: frameworks and first steps for implementing equity in professional practice
Designed specifically for the McGill context, this workshop will expose the participant to a number of concepts related to equity and discrimination. During this session, participants will cover terminology, cultural competencies, and dimensions of diversity in both conceptual and concrete terms. This first workshop in the Safer Spaces series provides an introduction to the complicated questions that arise when working, studying and living in cross-cultural settings.
